Position: Technical Project Manager Duration: Long-Term/ 12 months Location: Cincinnati, OH(Onsite) Looking for Only US & GC Candidates with 12+ years of experience Job Duties: Responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions. This includes directing all IT operations to meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions. Manages and participates in the technology strategy, design, procurement, and operations for the company. Manages and participates in executing production tasks according to a documented schedule that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Manages and prioritizes the workload of subordinate personnel. Represents the IT function at customer review meetings. Analyzes business needs presented by clients and recommends technical solutions. Approves all business requirements prior to the technical solution. Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions Reviews all designs, code and unit test plans. Obtains and licenses hardware/software by obtaining required information from vendors; recommending purchases; testing and approving products. Proposes and manages the annual IT budget and procurement plan. Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Manages the development, design, and implementation of the companys Information Security Policy. Develops software solutions using .NET and related frameworks by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas. Develops, maintains, and exercises disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Develops, maintains, and monitors environmental backups. Manages and reacts to annual audits and penetration testing Maintains servers (Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2+) by ensuring compatibility with all custom applications. Provides desktop support (Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.). Responsible for production support tasks (server availability, website(s), etc.). Performs other duties as assigned.Skills/Qualifications: Superb problem-solving ability Excellent teamwork and communication skills Excellent software engineering practices and coding 3+ years of demonstrated management experience 7+ years of experience in developing commercial software using .NET technologies and other frameworks 7+ years of experience in database design and development using Microsoft SQL Server technologies (SSMS,SSIS,SSRS, SQL Server Agent) Proven ability to plan, schedule and deliver quality software Experience in building software as a service a plus Experience in server management (IIS, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, Print Management, etc.) a plus Experience in Citrix a plus Experience in database management (Microsoft SQL Server preferred) a plus Experience in networking a plus -- Keywords: information technology green card Ohio Technical Project Manager || Contract - Onsite || Cincinnati, OH [email protected] |
