Role: Oracle Developer 6i- Forms Location: San Francisco, CA (Only Locals or from PST) Duration: Contract Experience: Minimum 10+ years Note: Only H1 Visa who can share PP (Dont share GC, GC EAD, H4, OPT/CPT) Role Description: Key Responsibilities and Qualifications: Develop and maintain applications using Oracle Forms 6i and Reports. Enhance existing applications by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas for modification and improvement. Integrate Oracle Forms with Oracle Database and other applications to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle Forms applications, addressing and resolving issues in a timely manner. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed code, system modifications, and user guides. Conduct thorough testing of applications, including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Monitor and optimize application performance, implementing performance tuning strategies to enhance efficiency. Provide training and support to end-users, assisting them in understanding and utilizing Oracle Forms applications effectively. Ensure that all development work adheres to industry best practices, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in Oracle Forms 6i development. Proficiency in Oracle Forms 6i and Reports. Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL. Experience with Oracle Database 10g/11g/12c. Familiarity with Oracle Developer Suite. Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Preferred: Experience with Oracle Forms 10g or later versions. Preferred: Knowledge of web technologies and experience with web-based Oracle Forms. Preferred: Experience in migration projects from Oracle Forms 6i to later versions.
