When joining the Marketing Platforms team, this role will be focused on leading a team of engineers on its Marketing Digital Asset Manager Platform to deliver innovative solutions to satisfy the needs of our business. How will you make an impact in this role * Software development and coding assignments. * Function as member of an agile team by contributing to software builds through consis ent develement practices (tools, * Demonstrate increased self-reliance to achieve team goals. * Participate in code reviews and automated testing. * Debug basic software components and identify code defects for remediation. * Enable the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments. * Automated deployments in test or production environments. Responsibilities & Qualifications * Preferably a BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline. * 8 years of relevant IT work experience. * These responsibilities require a solid understanding and hands on experience of one or more of the following: Adobe sExperience Manage Assets, Sites, Workfront/AJO/ web development skills and a good grasp of digital marketing principles. * Assets and Sites * Building and deploying new websites and web applications using AEM Sites. This includes developing templates, components, and services according to the business requirements. * Hands on experience with implementing OSGI services and Sling APIs. Customizing AEM features and integrating with other systems such as CRM, e-commerce, analytics, and marketing automation tools to create a seamless digital experience. Ensuring the AEM Sites always performs optimally, this involves tuning AEM instances, optimizing the website's performance, and managing caching strategies. * Implementing security practices within AEM Sites, including managing user permissions, and protecting against security threats. * Workfront * Setting up and configuring Adobe Workfront to meet the specific needs of the organization. This includes creating * Utilizing Adobe Workfront for project management tasks such as scheduling, resource allocation, and tracking project progress. The engineer may also be involved in managing some projects directly, using the platform to ensure timely delivery and reporting. * Technical skills such as understanding APIs and coding for custom integrations. * AJO * Implementing, customizing, and managing Adobe Journey Optimizer, which is Adobe's platform designed to orchestrate and deliver personalized customer experiences across various channels. * Setting up and configuring Adobe Journey Optimizer to align with the specific marketing strategies and goals of an organization. This includes integrating it with other Adobe Experience Cloud solutions and third-party systems. * Designing and implementing customer journey workflows that include triggers, decision points, and actions across multiple channels. This also involves testing and optimizing these journeys based on performance data. * Creating and managing audience segments to target specific user groups with personalized content and messages. This includes leveraging data from various sources to refine targeting strategies. * Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis and determine short term and long-term fixes extremely fast. * Good understanding of Change Management, Problem Management, and Incident Management processes a plus. * Willingness to learn new Technologies and exploit them to their optimal potential. * Able to understand and use complex data structures and associated components. * Designs, codes, tests, maintains, and documents applications. * Hands on with GIT. Key Responsibilities: * Work with product owners to define requirements for new features, build product roadmaps and plan increments of work. * Partner with the business and development teams on prioritizing the right problems to solve, providing more time to focus on implementing new capabilities. * Develop strong working relationships with all levels of the organization, including our executive leaders in technology, business partners, and development leaders to achieve results and enact wide-scale impact across the organization. * Collaborate with Vendor Resource and third-party Supplier partners to optimize day-to-day operations. Ensure samthe right work is assigned to the right team, resulting in efficient performance, quality and availability of applications and technology platforms. * Mentor and guide team members to success; identify strengths and areas for growth in direct reports and guide them to grow in their careers while being more productive on the team. * Nurture an environment of continuous engineering improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics. * Working with Engineering Director to hire top talent for the team. * Influence innovative changes and improvements by challenging status quo and demonstrating risk taking. Qualifications: * Preferably a BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline. * 11 years of relevant IT work experience plus at least 5 years of people management experience * 5 plus years of onshore/offshore coordination skills * Requires a strong understanding of digital marketing, customer experience management, data integration, and analytics, alongside technical skills in systems integration, * Proven experience in automating and optimizing development workflows using Adobe Workfront * Strong proficiency in AEM cloud development, customization, and configuration. In-depth knowledge of AEM cloud architecture, Assets, Sites, Workfront, AJO, sling APIs, Schedulers, OSGI services. * Developing custom scripts and integrations with other enterprise tools such as ERP systems, CRM platforms, and other Adobe products (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Creative Cloud). This ensures seamless data flow and functionality across various business functions. * Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node and React. * Proven experience in digital asset management or related field, preferably in an enterprise environment. Strong knowledge of digital asset management principles, practices, and technologies. * Familiarity with digital asset management systems (DAM), metadata standards, and taxonomy management * Hands-on engineer with expertise in developing complex, large-scale enterprise applications. * Experience in capacity planning, continuous performance improvements, and identifying issues before they occur. * Prior meaningful technology and business/industry work experience including extensive hands-on experience in architecture design and deployment, systems life cycle management, infrastructure planning. * Able to weigh several, often conflicting constraints and make rapid decisions in a high-pressure environment. * Foundation in design, data structures and algorithms, and strong analytical and debugging skills with customer-facing products experience.
