The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces and experiences across web applications. As a UI/UX Developer, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and software engineers to translate design mockups and requirements into interactive and responsive front-end solutions. Familiarity with WCAG is a must. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement user interfaces and experiences for web applications using HTML5, JavaScript, Java, CSS, and AJAX. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design concepts and requirements into functional and user-friendly interfaces. - Create wireframes, working prototypes, and mockups to communicate design ideas and concepts effectively. - Optimize front-end performance and user experience through efficient code, responsive design, and browser compatibility. - Implement interactive features and dynamic content using JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). - Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement best practices for accessibility and usability. - Conduct user testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve upon UI/UX designs. - Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in UI/UX design and development. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in computer science, or related field. - Proven experience as a UI/UX Developer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing front- end development projects. - Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, Java, CSS, and AJAX with a solid understanding of web standards and best practices. - Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus. - Strong visual design skills and attention to detail with the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. - Must be well versed with WCAG2.0/3.0 guidelines. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for user-centered design. - Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate ideas and concepts clearly. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies is desirable. - Familiarity with UI/UX design tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma) is a plus. - Experience in Localization is a plus. - Having previous experience with Health Insurance organizations is a plus.
