Whenever Kroger introduces a new application with unfamiliar technology or faces a talent gap, the Center of Excellence steps in. This includes situations where third-party vendor contracts are ending and in-house expertise is needed. The Center of Excellence comprises a flexible team that can adapt and fill gaps in the technical stack as required. In addition to managing the Center of Excellence, this manager also develops comprehensive training materials to ensure the team is well-prepared for any challenges so that may also be a potential aspect of the roleThe individuals in this role will need to have experience with end to end testing and they will also need great communication skills. They are targeting someone with subject matter expertise in at least one of the following:UI Testing, Mobile Testing, API TestingJob Details: This person will be representing the Kroger QA CoE so need to have both broad and deep experience. The CoE is currenlty supporting 7 UI & API testing products. CoE is now supporting QA Automation for Postman. This group supports all frameworks and tools to train all (Kroger) associates. Someone with expertise in Karate or strong Mobile experience with Appium.Required Skills: Seeking a savvy technical Lead or SME that has previous experience leading a group that focuses on best practices and has previous experience mentoring a group of other Testers. Soft skills: build relationship - explain value of tools to teams for selections.
