Job Responsibilities: End-to-end ownership of the Build Management Life Cycle process. Managing code integrations, code merges, and deployment requests. Creating documentation to deploy and maintain each version of a new release. Communicating integration and deployment activities. Working closely with Development staff to provide Dev Test environment server support. Creating Deployment Requests for all Lower environments and production releases as well as collaborating with Test leads, Developers and Deploy team to coordinate daily deploys. Recommending process improvements and adapting to change. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Ten (10) or more years of experience in: software development organizations, databases, programming, testing, software deployment Linux system administration and/or middleware administration experience with Application Servers such as JBoss and Websphere. Experience with version control systems, such as GITHUB, SVN, Perforce, BitBucket, IBM Rational Team Concert (IBM RTC / ELM) Experience administering and using Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) Working knowledge of J2EE Application Development and related tools and technologies such as Eclipse, Application Servers (Websphere, JBoss) and Linux Solid understanding of Core Java Concepts such as Object Oriented Programming, Java Collections API, Exception Handling, Multi-Threading is required, Solid understanding of Object Oriented Analysis, J2EE Concepts, Architecture, and Technologies Experience with web development with client-side MVC frameworks such as HTML, JavaScript, Angular, node.js Solid experience working with Linux Detail oriented and process driven Preferred Qualifications: Integrators play a role between the Development, Deployment, and Middleware teams. The candidates experience, skills & knowledge must overlap into 3 areas (Coding, NYSOH Application Deployment and VM servers). While the roles required knowledge is focused more towards deploy and server, our Integrators must have solid experience supporting developers 1 on 1. Weve seen many resumes with Cloud, AWS, Container, Docker skills and experience. Please be aware that these skills would not be utilized on our program. They are not part of our implementation, not required; and will be a reason for rejection. Similarly, CICD experience is not specifically applicable to this role other than the problem solving value for our workflow automation. TWS, Cron, shell scripting etc are our solutions, Jenkins is not..
