Job Description - Oracle Cloud Architect Remote NEED LINKEDIN Responsibilities: Design and implement rock-solid HA architectures across the entire application stack within OCI. Leverage your deep understanding of Oracle DBA activities to configure and manage high-availability databases. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of OCI networking features, including VCNs, subnets, security lists, and route tables, to craft secure and efficient network architectures. Configure and manage HA solutions for load balancers, compute instances, block storage, and object storage ensuring peak performance. Design and implement a comprehensive full-stack Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy using Oracle Cloud DR services. Collaborate seamlessly with engineers, developers, and operations teams to flawlessly integrate and deploy HA/DR solutions. Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for peak performance and efficient resource utilization. Stay on the cutting edge of OCI advancements and best HA/DR implementation practices. Document the designed HA/DR system architecture and any other essential operational procedures and configurations. Qualifications: Proven experience as an Oracle Cloud Architect (or similar role) with a focus on high availability and disaster recovery. Deep understanding of Oracle Database Administration (DBA) activities and best practices. In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Database. Demonstrated experience designing and implementing HA architectures for applications within the Oracle Cloud. Proven ability to configure and manage HA solutions for load balancers, compute instances, storage, and databases. Hands-on experience setting up full-stack DR systems using Oracle Cloud DR services (highly desirable). Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bonus points for: Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (IaaC) tools like Terraform.
