Responsibilities Configure Event Management settings, including event sources, field mappings, and normalization rules. Design and implement event rules to filter, categorize, and prioritize alerts based on severity, source, and specific criteria. Develop notification policies to route alerts to appropriate personnel based on urgency and incident type. Integrate Event Management with other ITSM applications, such as Incident Management and Problem Management, for seamless incident resolution workflows. Create dashboards and reports to visualize event trends, identify potential issues, and measure the effectiveness of event management processes. Maintain ServiceNow documentation for Event Management configurations and procedures. Stay up to date on the latest ServiceNow Event Management features and best practices. Expertise to define workflows on ServiceNow automation engine to integrated with third party tools Qualifications Proven experience configuring and managing IT event management tools. Strong understanding of ServiceNow Event Management functionalities and configuration options. Working knowledge of IT infrastructure monitoring tools and integrations. Experience with writing event processing rules and automation scripts (e.g., scripting languages).
