| Job title : Java Backend Developer Location : Remote Rate : $55/hr Need 10 + Yrs exp Job Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications. Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code. Integrate and manage data storage solutions like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience. Implement security and data protection. Develop and conduct unit testing of code components. Stay up-to-date with new technology trends. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven work experience as a Java Backend Developer. Proficient in Java and its frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, etc. Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Experience with version control systems like Git. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience with microservices architecture. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of agile methodologies.
