Job Summary

As a Senior Analyst specializing in Auto Lending, you will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing various aspects of the auto lending lifecycle, including originations, servicing, payments, collections, and quality assurance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and Various stake holders including Business users, product managers, developers, and testers to ensure successful implementation of auto lending solutions.

Gather and analyze business requirements Work closely with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze requirements related to auto lending products, processes, and systems. Identify opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations for business process enhancements.

Also, analyze data, develop insights, and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and risk management within the auto lending domain

Years of experience needed Minimum 8+ years of relevant Business Analysis experience.

Technical Skills:

Must have Core Business Analyst Responsibilities:

Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.

Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.

Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.

Performing requirements analysis.

Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.

Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.

Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.

Performing user acceptance testing.

Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.

Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.

Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.

1. Originations Analysis and Optimization:

Analyze and evaluate the auto loan origination process, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.

Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline workflows, reduce turnaround times, and enhance customer onboarding experiences.

Develop and implement strategies to minimize credit risk and ensure compliance with lending policies and regulations.

2. Servicing and Payments Management:

Monitor and analyze the servicing and payment processes for auto loans, identifying opportunities to streamline operations and improve customer satisfaction.

Work with stakeholders to enhance self-service capabilities, automated payment options, and customer communication channels.

Ensure accuracy and timeliness of loan payments, including monitoring and resolving payment exceptions and delinquencies.

3. Collections and Loss Mitigation:

Conduct analysis and develop strategies to optimize collections processes, minimize delinquencies, and mitigate credit losses.

Collaborate with collections teams to identify early warning signs, implement proactive collection strategies, and explore repayment assistance programs.

Monitor collection performance metrics, recommend process enhancements, and support the implementation of collection system enhancements.

4. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure adherence to internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices.

Perform audits and reviews of auto lending processes, documentation, and system controls.

Provide recommendations for process improvements and oversee the implementation of remediation plans.

5. Data Analysis and Reporting:

Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to auto lending operations, identifying trends, patterns, and areas of opportunity.

Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights on key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and portfolio performance.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements, establish data governance protocols, and support data-driven decision-making.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with internal teams, including business stakeholders, IT, risk management, and compliance, to ensure alignment and successful execution of initiatives.

Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, representing the auto lending domain and providing subject matter expertise.

7. s and Notifications:

Able to utilize data receiving from Dealers and ing the Dealers.

Validate and generating automated s during the Event Lifecycle.

Qualification:

Bachelors degree in business, Finance, Economics, or an MBA/related field.

A minimum of 6 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.

5+ years of working experience in the auto lending industry, specifically in the areas of originations, servicing, payments, collections, and quality assurance.

Strong knowledge of auto lending products, industry regulations, and compliance requirements.

Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

Proficiency in data analysis, using tools such as SQL, Excel, and statistical analysis software.

Experience in developing and implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets.

Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders at various levels.

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of relevant software systems and tools used in auto lending operations is preferred.
