| Need only local Candidate for a Memphis, TN Location Role : Power Platform Developer Location : Memphis, TN (hybrid role, anyone local is great, but if not local, the candidate does need to be in a nearby state or not too far to relocate.) Duration : Long Term MOI : Phone/Skype Visa : No H1B/CPT. Job Summary Responsible for the development and day-to-day maintenance, creation, and enhancements of the Power Platform application systems in test and production operations, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues and issues resolution or escalation. Responsibilities also include building solutions for Monitoring and Evaluation projects using Power Platform, root cause analysis, management communication, and client relationship management in partnership with Infrastructure Service Support and Operations team members. Ensures all production changes are made in accordance with lifecycle methodology, version control, and appropriate testing. Conducts technical and analytical work in developing, designing, and/or analyzing technical solutions for city divisions. Responsibilities Delivering services and solutions for clients using Microsofts PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, and Power Automate. Provide hands-on technical expertise to design and implement Power Platform based solutions satisfying customer requirements. Help guide teams to effectively use the Microsoft Power Platform. Understand business difficulties to provide solutions by applying problem-solving and decision-making skills. Automate business processes with Power Apps and Power Automate. Use various connectors to connect disparate systems to Power Platform applications. Recommend and guide the development of APIs for Line of Business applications that do not have native connectors. Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Assists in the evaluation, development, and implementation of all systems. Contribute across all phases of the software development life cycle. Must have a minimum of 5 years of Microsoft Power Platform development experience. Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Platform technical solutions. Work experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments. Experience with and a good understanding of the Power Platform and governance components. Familiarity with Agile project management and sprint planning. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams. Highly skilled in interpersonal and verbal/written communications, presentations, math, analytical and problem-solving skills. Problem Solving & Impact Integrates knowledge and skills from other specialties to address moderate to complex work assignments and problems. Supports technology applications by exploring and adapting to changing technologies. Independently applies technical judgment to work assignments to achieve desired outcomes. Proactively verifies problem resolution. Independently resolves routine and non-routine problems. Performs diagnostics on assigned software and/or hardware. Makes suggestions for technical modifications to prevent future problems. Experience 5 8 Years of related work experience. Experience in using OOTB connectors for Power Apps and Power Automate. Experience in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment Experience developing PowerApps model. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to technical and nontechnical users .
