ONSITE Mandatory Skills: Product Management, Experience with managing Azure data platform/product, Stakeholder Management, , Business Analysis, Data analysis, SQL Job Overview: As a Data Product Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our product team. You will be responsible for owning the product lifecycle from end to end, shaping the product vision, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional software and data products. This position requires a strong focus on customer needs, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. As a Sr. TPM you will influence and drive a cohesive vision for the product portfolio managed by our team. Job Responsibilities: Take complete ownership of a data or software product, including the technical and functional roadmap. Evangelize a customer-centric approach, effectively representing the voice of the customer to inform technology and resource investments. Act as the primary point of contact and intake for the DevOps product team. Prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with key development and business stakeholders. Lead product grooming and sprint planning sessions in collaboration with the engineering team. Manage capacity and resource planning to optimize product development and delivery. Articulate product scope, ROI, and benefits to stakeholders and business teams. Work closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to plan and execute successful product releases. Align multiple domains (both technical and non-technical) to a common vision. Provide clear and effective communication of product details, covering design, technical aspects, and functionality to both technical and non-technical audiences. Actively engage in the team's support channels, assisting and addressing stakeholder questions. Leverages understanding of technology trends to determine how platform and architecture decisions impact product roadmaps and user experience. Develop a good understanding of all products and technology managed by the team. Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline). An advanced degree would be advantageous but not required. Work Experience: Previous experience of 3-8 years in a product management role or similar capacity within the technology industry. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proven expertise in product management, demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex products. Strong understanding of DevOps practices and related technologies. SQL skills to understand code, basic troubleshooting and be self-reliant for basic data analysis. You will not be expected to write any production code. API development and wireframing Documentation and running training sessions. Exceptional customer focus with a track record of successfully incorporating customer feedback into product strategies. Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and addressing challenges creatively. Understanding of technology trends and best practices within the industry. Proficiency in project and product management tools and methodologies.
