| Need an Instructional Design Expert Atlanta, GA Hybrid. Exp: 10+ years. An experienced Instructional Design Expert to join our team and help create comprehensive training materials for software products, with a focus on video formats and additional training artifacts. This role also involves addressing training needs for a migration program from a legacy system to a new, updated system. 1. Training Material Development: - Design and develop engaging and effective training materials primarily in video formats. - Create supplementary training artifacts, including guides, manuals, visual aids, and FAQs. 2. Migration Program Training: - Develop training materials that explain the migration process from the legacy system to the new system. - Highlight functional changes between the systems, ensuring users understand the differences and new functionalities. - Use visual aids to support understanding of complex concepts. 3. Collaboration and Leadership: - Lead the training development process, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. - Work closely with product subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather necessary information and insights. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project managers, and customer support. 4. Learning Management System (LMS): - Utilize your background in LMS development to structure and deliver training content effectively. - Ensure training materials are easily accessible and trackable within the LMS. 5. Continuous Improvement: - Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements based on feedback and performance metrics. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and software training. Qualifications : - Bachelors or Masters degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field. - Proven experience in instructional design, with a focus on video training materials. - Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and software product training. - Experience leading training development for migration programs from legacy systems to new systems. - Proficiency in creating visual aids and supplementary training artifacts. - Background in Learning Management System (LMS) development and management. - Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with SMEs and cross-functional teams. - Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead training development projects from inception to completion. - Experience in banking and finance application systems, would be preferred - Experience in creating application walkthrough training videos with voice-over and video editing skills Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in the tech industry or software product training. - Certification in instructional design or a related field. - Familiarity with e-learning tools and platforms.
