Role: Kafka Support Engineer Locations: 100% Remote (Client is in EST) Duration: 12+ Months Contract Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Kafka Support Engineer to join our Middleware team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Apache Kafka and experience in providing advanced support and maintenance for distributed messaging systems. Key Responsibilities: Technical Support: Provide support for Apache Kafka, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root cause analysis. System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain Kafka clusters, perform patch management, upgrades, and configuration changes. Incident Management: Respond to incident tickets, document resolutions, and collaborate with support teams and stakeholders. Performance Tuning: Analyze performance metrics, optimize configurations, and conduct capacity planning. Documentation & Training: Maintain technical documentation and conduct training sessions for support teams.
