Role: Workday Extend Developer Location: Remote Visa: H4 EAD, GC EAD, USC , GC Project Description: We are looking for a highly skilled Workday Extend Developer to join our client's team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building custom applications within Workday, specifically in the Talent and Performance modules. Experience with succession planning is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: As a Workday Extend Developer, you will develop and implement custom applications using Workday Extend, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications within the Talent and Performance modules, ensuring seamless integration with existing Workday processes and data. You will provide technical expertise and support throughout the application development lifecycle, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and maintain documentation for custom applications and processes. Key applications in Talent and Performance include talent reviews, succession planning tools, goal management, feedback and recognition platforms, learning and development systems, and performance appraisals. To succeed in this role, you must have proven experience with Workday Extend development, a strong background in Workday Talent and Performance modules, preferably experience with succession planning, proficiency in Workday Studio, Integration, and Reporting, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include certification in Workday Extend and/or other modules, experience with other HRIS systems and integration tools, and knowledge of Workday security and compliance standards. Common Applications in Talent and Performance: Talent Reviews: Custom applications to facilitate and streamline talent review processes, including performance ratings, potential assessments, and development planning. Succession Planning: Tools for managing and tracking succession plans, identifying high-potential employees, and preparing them for future leadership roles. Goal Management: Apps for setting, tracking, and managing employee goals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Feedback and Recognition: Platforms for providing continuous feedback and recognizing employee achievements in real-time. Learning and Development: Custom learning management systems for tracking employee training, certifications, and professional development activities. Performance Appraisals: Tailored solutions for conducting and managing performance appraisals, including custom workflows and forms.
