Laurel Township, NJ. The position has been out for a few weeks already and they have not found the right fit. Please ensure/verify that candidates have not already been submitted to the NFL recently. Must be in NJ or Manhattan or able to relocate as they are required to be (1) day/week in the office. Job Overview: Sr. .Net Developer to join an innovative team working with the NFL in Mt. Laurel Township, NJ. This position requires a commitment to be on-site one day per week and involves potential travel to other offices. The role focuses on developing high-performance .NET solutions for Game Statistics and Information Systems and Game Scheduling systems. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. Responsibilities: Evaluate operational feasibility by analyzing requirements, defining problems, and proposing solutions. Develop proofs of concept, documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, and clear code to demonstrate solutions. Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes. Stay current with state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and industry trends. Assess solution architecture, including cloud vs. on-premises and server-less vs. instance-hosted solutions. Maintain confidentiality of intellectual property and operations. Collect, analyze, and summarize development and service issues. Develop software solutions by studying information needs and following the software development lifecycle. Perform technical analysis, document requirements, design, and development of software. Convert functional specifications into technical artifacts, emphasizing performance, security, and extensibility. Conduct code reviews to ensure conformance with specifications and methodologies. Provide technical support and work with business implementation leads to identify workflows and protocols. Engage with IT project management and report project status. Collaborate with Business Analysts to analyze and develop business requirements. Adhere to project development plans and release dates. Contribute to QA Functional Test Scripts and Performance Test Plans. Serve as a technical lead on multiple projects, providing tasks and guidance to vendors and NFL developers. Provide on-site and remote game day support during the NFL Season and for NFL Events. Travel for project deployments, off-site meetings, and on-site game day support. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a strong technical background. Knowledge of American Football. Strong knowledge of C#, Visual Basic, SQL Server, .NET Core, .NET Framework, ASP.Net, ASP.Net MVC, HTML5, jQuery. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including IIS, Windows Server, .NET, SQL Server, WPF, Web API, SSRS, and DevOps. Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, CLI use, and hardware management. Awareness and understanding of storage and storage transfer protocols. Experience in software architecture, data modeling, database design, web application security, hardware devices, TCP/IP, and networking. Ability to communicate technical issues in business terms for senior leadership decision-making. Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized, focused, flexible, motivated, detail-oriented, and a dedicated team player.
