Job Title: Cloud Monitoring Platform Engineer Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Experience: 12+ Years EXPERIENCE: Proven experience in developing and managing Splunk and SignalFX solutions. Strong background in IT operations and monitoring. TECHNICAL SKILLS: Proficiency in Splunk, including experience with Splunk Enterprise Security and IT Service Intelligence (ITSI). Strong knowledge of SignalFX for real-time monitoring and analytics. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Familiarity with data ingestion techniques and integration methods. Experience with dashboard and alert creation in Splunk and SignalFX. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new skills quickly. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Certifications: Relevant certifications in Splunk, SignalFX, or other monitoring and analytics tools. Security: Knowledge of security monitoring and incident response practices. Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
