[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Tittle: Technical Program Lead Location: Hybrid onsite in Hartford, CT 3 days a Week Preferred, will consider Charlotte, NC (Local Only) MOI: Skype Visa: USC, GC, GC EAD Client Manager wants 2 people. One with Technical Management experience working on Application Modernization Projects (Portfolio/Program) and another to focus on Technical Management experience working on Data Modernization and Simplification. He need resources who are AWS Cloud focused with some level of practical certification preferred. They must understand basic AWS Design, ability to refactor applications to implement application migration to AWS using "native services" and identify dependencies for data and application integration to optimize migration to AWS with other technical components. Must have 3-5 years experience with AWS Migration and 7-10 years performing Application and Data modernization leading multiple matrixed teams of Architects, developers, and cloud/data/security engineers. The biggest falloffs for candidates so far was they were not Technically Focused, but more implementation/delivery driven managers. Not looking for a SAFe Delivery Manager, but a technical minded leader with Functional, Technical, and leadership skills. Technical Program Management and provide technical leadership over the simplification and modernization for apps migrated to cloud as part of our cloud journey. This role provides strategic direction to the program team and works with cloud architects, engineers, developers, application security team scrum masters to ensure program goals and objectives are and remain aligned to the strategic direction of the program. The role collaborates with leaders and stakeholders across IT and the business to ensure proper coordination and execution of activities. Key Responsibilities: Provide Tech ownership for the end-to-end flow / process for app migration to cloud across multiple LOBs, infra shared platforms, etc. The incumbent will work closely with app architects, developers, cloud engineers, and application security engineers to provide engineering oversight of the migration of 400+ application and data assets to the Cloud. The candidate will use his/her technical experience to influence the right level of app modernization to cloud in close partnership with cloud services team. Will drive adoption of cloud native solutions by working closely with Cloud Sol architecture and cloud services team. Work on an overall plan for upstream and downstream integrations and dependencies that applications need and help sequence them to achieve efficiencies in migration. The candidate will work closely with the cloud services team to influence service delivery as we migrate to AWS. Will update, advise, and collaborate with senior leadership regarding the ongoing alignment of the program to the usiness and technology strategy. Work across multiple value streams of stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to ensure program is delivered on time, within budget and meets the strategic and business requirements. Continually identify, log and mitigate risks and issues within projects Identify required granularity to satisfy visibility and control needs while articulating complex schedules and inter-dependencies clearly for stakeholders Education: Bachelor's degree in applicable field required. Tools Knowledge & Certifications: AWS practitioner certification preferred. Hands on experience of Rally, MS Excel, Word, Visio, Project, Jira, and PowerPoint Work Experience: 3+ Years proven experience in leading major cloud migration projects to AWS. 10+ years combined IT experience in Strong Engineering and Execution Experience managing large, complex cloud projects of $50M+ to quality, time, and budget. Experience in full SDLC project delivery with a variety of methodologies i.e., Agile, Scrum Proven track record leading executives and influencing others towards a common goal. A demonstrated ability to rely heavily on influence over authority to drive deliverables.
