Contract Duration: 24 Months Required Skills & Experience Spark Hive Scala Agile Big Data Hadoop and Spark ETL development experience. 5+ years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.What You Will Be Doing Support oversight and surveillance. 8 people on the team supporting the data for multiple systems. Data acquisition and data processing engineering day to day. Primarily heads down engineer. Participate in a daily stand-up call, Jiras will be assigned. Not expected to be interacting with stakeholders. Speaking up in the calls and providing risk updates. Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Database Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Database Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
