Role: Business Analyst with Pharmacy Accounting Location: Iselin, NJ (Only Locals) Duration: Contract Experience: Minimum 10+ years Note: Only H1 Visa who can share PP (Dont share GC, GC EAD, H4, OPT/CPT) Role Description: Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze financial statements specific to pharmacy operations. Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Perform variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies. Oversee the reconciliation of pharmacy accounts and resolve any discrepancies. Assist in the preparation and review of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of pharmacy accounting operations. Collaborate with IT and other departments to develop and integrate accounting systems and tools. Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to support decision-making processes. Generate ad-hoc reports and provide insights to senior management on financial performance and strategic initiatives. Work closely with pharmacy managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and provide financial guidance. Participate in cross-functional projects and provide financial expertise to support business initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on the pharmacy or healthcare sector. Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred. Experience with pharmacy benefit management (PBM) or retail pharmacy operations is preferred. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the healthcare and pharmacy sectors is preferred.
