Role - SAS Developer with Python - Backfill Location - Washington DC or Reston VA Need to go 1 day onsite in a week or in 2 weeks (Local to Reston/DC would be given 1st preference) Duration - 3+ months C2H Interview - MS team Visa - US Citizen, Green Card or EAD Note - Needs to be local to Reston VA if possible (or in EST time zone hopefully VA, DC, PA) Top 5 Technical Skills: SAS, SAS MAcros, SAS ETL- SAS on UNIX/Grid Python SQL (Strong) Unix Command Line, AWS Top 3 Soft Skills: Clear communications Results driven and a solution provider Statistics, finance, accounting background Job Description: Looking for a Mid/Senior/Lead Developer to work on Agile based projects for SF Forecast calculating financial statements for key Credit Risk Business Areas. The position requires SAS programming experience to provide SAS automation of existing Excel based manual processes. SAS will be used to calculate income statement forecasts and provide various output formats like Excel or CSV. Using SAS, SAS/Macros, and SAS/ODS. The SAS application will also be connected with an Oracle Data Mart using SAS/SQL, SAS/Assist, SAS/Connect, SAS/Access, and SAS ETL. SAS Program will also wrap in Python to provide UNIX command line access to a future Web Based User Interface Looking for a Mid/Senior/Lead Developer who can work with Business users and analysts to understand the business requirements and process and independently provide appropriate solutions. Looking for Team player who can effectively work with a cross-functioning team (analyst, development, testing, and production support) Provide technical guidance or consultation to less senior staff. Share knowledge and experience with other team members. Train or mentor users based on their needs. EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required Master's degree in Computer Science, Math, Economics or other quantitative discipline preferred MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 4+ years of related experience SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS Require a strong understanding of numerical and statistical techniques At least 4 years of experience with SAS and Python in a UNIX/SAS Grid Environment. Familiarity with Software Engineering techniques such as using Object Oriented languages such as Java and C++ preferred Role on the Team: On Prem SAS developer with Python to keep on prem applications going and work with business to apply new business logic.
