| Hi All, Position: lead full stack Developer Platform Engineering Location: Remote Work Auth: USC/GC Duration: 6-months Typically 12-18 months + potential for extension/conversion, just cant promise anything beyond 6-months. Background check: Yes Interview Process/# of Rounds: 1 hr. technical panel interview > Technical Take Home Assessment (looking for professional quality code) Looking for a full-stack developer that will be leading the team/be there evangelist (helping other teams integrate the platform, run demos for internal consumers and ultimately guide them on how to use the platform) Basically, need a strong lead full-stack developer with Great communications skills. Teck stack is React/nodeJS (Python/GO works as well) They MUST be strong with running demos, Proof of Concepts (POCs), writing Software Development Kits (SDKs) for documentation, Command Line Interfaces (CLIs); architecture, SDK/CLI development. Why the role is open: They are trying to rapidly accelerate the development for a platform initiatives. New initiative is building out a certificate store. A certificate store is a database that stores digital certificates. It is used to manage and store digital certificates for various purposes, such as authentication, encryption, and digital signature. Will engage with internal/external customers to assist developers in using the platform effectively. Developer Evangelist Platform Engineering Summary: The developer Evangelist will help the platform team engage with internal/external customers to assist developers in using the platform effectively. This will involve building SDKs, sample applications, and documentation, and engaging with other developers on designing solutions based on the platform. Job Description: Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software development and technology Creating technical content like blogs, how-to videos, tutorials, and code samples Create SDKs and CLIs on platform APIs and services. Building and nurturing relationships with developers and the wider technical community Engage in technical planning, design, development, and code reviews including peer code review of Pull Requests Stay current with emerging trends, making recommendations as needed to help the organization innovate. Collaborate with our engineering and development teams working on groundbreaking technologies and drive our internal validation and benchmarking projects for our platform services. Help identify and execute improvements and simplification opportunities with business systems in a domain. Identify and promote the reuse of common services and components. Required Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or a related field. Proven experience as a developer Evangelist/Advocate or similar role 5+ years of work-related experience in technology research, large-scale, highly available software development/architecture, and/or communications industry network standards. Domain expertise in telecommunications, identity auth-n, auth-z architectures, certificate management, and digital signatures and understanding of software and services in a regulated industry. Experience working with state-of-the-art application deployment practices including but not limited to Docker/Containers and Kubernetes. Experience with modern System programming and Deep Learning software architecture and frameworks. Experience with full-stack or backend technologies is required. This could include react/css or python/nodejs. 3+ years of experience working with a major cloud platform (we're on AWS).
