| Job title : Java Full Stack Developer - Ruby on Rails Location : Remote Full Time Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer with extensive experience in full-stack development, Java, AWS, and architectural design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using Ruby on Rails. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Design and implement application architectures, including database design and server-side logic. Develop and maintain API integrations. Lead and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development. 13-15+ years of IT experience. Proficiency in Java for backend services and integrations. Strong experience with AWS services and cloud architecture. Full-stack development experience, including front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React or Angular. Deep understanding of software architecture and design patterns. Experience with database design and management (SQL and NoSQL). Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience with microservices architecture. Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks. Contributions to open-source projects.
