You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between healthcare data and technology, ensuring seamless interoperability and data quality across systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare data standards, proficiency in data mapping, and a passion for improving data utilization within the healthcare ecosystem. Essential Responsibilities: HL7 FHIR Expertise: Lead the implementation of HL7 FHIR standards, ensuring successful integration and data exchange between various healthcare systems. Data Mapping: Conduct thorough data mapping exercises, transforming clinical data from source systems (EMR/EHR) into the FHIR data model, catering to both Payer and Provider environments. Data Standards Implementation: Skillfully map and implement industry-standard healthcare data terminologies such as SNOMED CT, RXNorm, LOINC, UCUM, ICD, CPT, and CVX. Data Quality Assurance: Identify and address data quality issues, implementing strategies to enhance data accuracy, consistency, and compliance. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and analyze business requirements, translating them into actionable data requirements. Qualifications: Experience: 8-10 years of experience in healthcare data analysis, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in HL7 FHIR implementation. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field. Skills: Required: HL7 FHIR, EMR/EHR Systems, Data Mapping, SNOMED CT, RXNorm, LOINC, UCUM, ICD, CPT, CVX Preferred: SQL, Data Warehousing, Python/R (for data analysis) Certifications: (Optional) Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), or similar certifications.
