Position: Oracle Financials Distribution Consultant Location: Houston, TX (On-Site at clients office in Downtown Houston, TX) Duration: 6 months Visa: Only USC/GC/EAD Interview: Video/Skype Job Description: Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field Minimum of 7 years of experience working with Oracle Financials, with a strong focus on the Distribution module Proven experience in implementing and configuring Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions Deep understanding of financial processes and best practices within the energy and industrial sectors Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams Ability to work on-site in Houston, TX, and travel as required Experience in the energy or industrial sector Oracle certification in Financials or related modules Knowledge of other Oracle modules and integration points Responsibilities Lead and manage the implementation and conversion process to Oracle Fusion Cloud, ensuring a smooth transition from the current system Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and document business requirements, workflows, and processes Customize and configure Oracle Financials Distribution modules to meet business needs Provide expert advice and support on Oracle Financials functionalities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash management Develop and execute test plans to ensure system integrity, performance, and reliability Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle Financials and its integration with other systems Conduct training sessions and create comprehensive documentation for end-users Stay updated with Oracle Financials best practices, new features, and industry trends to continually enhance system performance and user experience Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the implementation and conversion process to Oracle Fusion Cloud, ensuring a smooth transition from the current system.
