I sincerely appreciate your time Title : Database SME - DB2 Location : Clayton, Missouri (Hybrid) Visa : USC/GC only Role/ JD: S.No DB2 DBA JD 1 Knowledge on core concepts of DB2 LUW. 2 Extensive experience with planning, documenting and performing upgrades and migration, setting up new database environments. 3 Experience in problem analysis and troubleshooting database related issues. 4 Provide performance tuning support to development teams for resolving issues with space usage, stored procedures, SQL Tuning and application monitoring. 5 Analyze and tune SQL statements and indexes; make performance recommendations to development teams. 6 Understand metadata, metrics, trending, and automation. 7 Advanced scripting skills required. 8 Advise developers for best practice, rollout implementation support. 9 Work with vendor for tuning recommendations. 10 Implement fixpacks and security patches when required. 11 Participate in disaster recovery exercises. 12 Knowledge on DB2 HADR, HACMP. Qreplication knowledge is preffered. 13 Monitor production databases and dbm settings, adjusting for optimal performance and throughput. 14 Configure DB2 Connect Server and Client, and install ODBC drivers.
