Role- Project manager Location- must be local to Lansing, MI (max 45 minutes away) Duration- Long term (multi year renewal) Visa- No H1B, OPT, CPT Responsible for the management of one or multiple moderately complex projects concurrently; plans and performs analysis of company functions, processes, and activities Job Description Duties and responsibilities Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. Develop or update project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables. Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems. Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel. Establish and execute a project communication plan. Schedule and facilitate meetings related to information technology projects. Qualifications Experience/Education - Required: Bachelors Degree 3-5 years related experience PMP certification Technical Skills - Required: Experience using project management methodologies and tools Experience preparing business plans, proposals and cost benefit analysis for project initiatives Experience managing and tracking project deliverables Ability to write technical documentation in a clear and concise manner. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively forge working relationships both internally and externally. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly self-motivated and directed. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
