Installation, configuration, and management of complex data networking and client/server systems and related software. Monitoring of computer network environment. Network administration. Network security. Analysis of workflow processes. Recommendations for improvements and solutions using automated systems. Third level troubleshooting as required to support Help Desk functions. Input to management on methods for improving the productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of program operations. Network backups and restoration of data. Maintenance of server logs. Maintenance of LAN or WAN. Development of specifications for new equipment requirements. Installation of new hardware, software and upgrades for various departments utilizing network systems. Instruction to end users in maintenance and use of network system and associated applications/hardware. Identification and resolution of software related issues remotely or on-site as required. Writing of technical documentation outlining end user instructions. Coordination with vendors on installation, maintenance or repair activities.
