Required Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD): This certification validates your expertise in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow applications. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Application Portfolio Management: This certification specifically focuses on APM. It demonstrates your knowledge of APM processes, modules, and configurations within the ServiceNow platform. Responsibilities: Collaborate with federal client stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into ServiceNow solutions. Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules to support Strategic Portfolio Management processes and workflows. Implement best practices for ServiceNow development, including adherence to coding standards, version control, and documentation. Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements to ServiceNow applications post-implementation. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, and other developers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with specific expertise in SPM modules such as Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management, and Resource Management. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JellyScript, GlideScript and related web technologies. Experience with ServiceNow scripting (Client Script, Business Rule, UI Policy, etc.) and ServiceNow APIs. Proficiency in ServiceNow Platform Development: Strong experience in ServiceNow platform development, including scripting (JavaScript, Glide), workflows, UI policies, and integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server). Ability to design and implement complex ServiceNow solutions. ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and APM Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ServiceNows SPM and APM products. Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) or IT Financial Management within the ServiceNow ecosystem. Application Rationalization: Identify Redundancies: APM allows you to gain a comprehensive understanding of the applications used in your organization. By identifying redundancies, you can streamline and consolidate applications within the same business function.
