| Job: Quality Engineer - Data Warehousing Location: Cincinnati, OH(Onsite) Duration: Contract Only GC, USC, H4 EAD's Manager Notes: Top 3 skills - Strong understanding in automation concepts, Experience in test environment and test data management, Qmetry test management Soft Skills Needed - Strong communication skills, ability to work in a lot of different spaces and across different business teams Nice to have - Snowflake, Azure, pharmacy or healthcare experience Project person will be supporting - This person will be working on data warehousing in the health and wellness space. There are two different sets of platforms this person will be working in. Migrating to Snowflake, so this is an important technology to have knowledge of. Team details ie. size, dynamics, locations - The team sits across the US. This person will need to be able to work well with others remotely. Work Location (in office, hybrid, remote) - This person should be in Cincinnati or a hub city. If local to Cincinnati they will report to the office 2-3 times per week. If they are in a hub city they will be remote. Is travel required - As requested, minimal. Required Working Hours - Standard business hours within EST Requirements 3+ years of experience with CI tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab) Strong understanding of QA processes and deliverables in an Agile/Scrum environment Proficient in defect tracking and root cause analysis using tools like Jira and Rally Strong understanding of automation concepts and approaches 1+ years of experience with Selenium Grid Experience working with or on remote teams Understanding and utilization of risk-based testing techniques Experience in test environment and test data management Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to challenge the norm 1+ years working with Qmetry test management 2+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum methodology Experience with SQL for back-end database validation Python knowledge for back-end testing Experience with Snowflake and Azure (preferred) Pharmacy or healthcare industry experience (preferred) Familiarity with the SAFe Agile approach (preferred) Typical Duties Work effectively in a fast-paced environment using Agile methodology Develop and maintain functional automation test scripts using modular frameworks and best practices Execute test scripts to validate application functionality Use SQL or Python for back-end database validation Perform various types of testing: smoke, white box, black box, integration, end-to-end, regression, and system testing Participate in requirement and design review sessions, evaluating from a quality test automation standpoint Manage test coverage based on risk analysis Document defects and prioritize based on overall application functionality Coordinate test script reviews with stakeholders as appropriate Adhere to guidelines for requirement review, defect writing, and test script writing Ensure completion of all deliverables within schedule, budget, and quality constraints Participate in Root Cause Analysis sessions Ensure projects follow prescribed software development life cycle standards Develop and maintain good relationships with the project team Multi-task to meet assignment deadlines Accurately estimate work assignments Demonstrate assertiveness Identify obstacles and roadblocks, and offer suggestions to overcome them Help drive and improve QA processes within the assigned team Warm Regards, Bhaskar kumar | Senior Recruiter 3S Business Corporation [email protected] 16700 HOUSE HAHL RD BLDG 6B, Cypress, TX-77433 An E-Verified Company To be removed from our mailing list reply with " [email protected] " and include your "original email address/addresses" in the subject heading.
