| Hello Partner, Hope you doing well Job Title: Senior Big Data Engineer with GCP Location: Alpharetta, GA Experience: 11+ Years Key Responsibilities: Design and Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of scalable and high-performance big data solutions on GCP. Develop and implement data models, data flow processes, and data integration strategies. Data Pipeline Development: Build and optimize data pipelines using GCP services such as Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery. Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across the entire data lifecycle. Data Storage and Management: Implement and manage data storage solutions using GCP services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL. Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and cost efficiency. Data Processing and Analysis: Develop and maintain ETL processes to transform raw data into valuable insights. Utilize GCPs machine learning and AI capabilities to build predictive models and analytics solutions. Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting best practices in data engineering and cloud computing. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of data systems and applications. Implement data governance and security best practices to ensure compliance and data integrity. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest big data technologies and industry trends. Propose and implement improvements to existing data systems and processes. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in big data engineering, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with GCP. Strong expertise in GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Experience with data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing solutions. Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and tools, including TensorFlow and AI Platform, is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Skills: Certification in GCP (e.g., Professional Data Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect). Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
