Position: Technical Business Analyst Location: Remote Duration: 6+ Months Mode of Interview: Phone and Video Job Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications Create and maintain the information architecture Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities. Author reports, procedures, and other documents in support of designated departments. Assist multiple departments with preparing a variety of technical documents such as user interface text, online help and developer guides, training manuals, user manuals, development (and testing) processes, online hints, and As-Builts Manage multiple projects simultaneously while interacting with various departments Ability to develop Internal technical documents, such as, but not limited to: Customer focused classroom training material, printed, visual, and online. Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of technical writing experience with SaaS applications or related companies. Ability to deliver high quality documentation - paying attention to detail Excellent written and verbal skills in English Skilled in Adobe Products InDesign, FrameMaker, PDF and some DITA experience Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures Highly efficient, and can work in a deadline driven environment Must have excellent technical writing skills, editing, formatting, and organizations skills Basic familiarity with software development Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams Excellent communication skills Must take initiative and be self-driven to create and implement tasks BS/BA Degree in Communications with emphasis in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent Expert proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook Proficiency in media creation and video production Proficiency in presentation, teaching/training, and public speaking Keywords: business analyst |
