The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tagging data, working with data source sensor tools, and building robust data pipelines. This role involves creating and managing data pipelines to support our cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring seamless data transfer and integration between various tools and platforms. This role will also be involved with critically thinking through data requirements in the context of the broader system as pipelines are developed. Responsibilities: Tag data and work with data source sensor tools to collect and aggregate data points. Build and maintain data pipelines to establish reliable data connections. Develop data pipelines to enable the transfer of data from source to I/O through Splunk. Create and manage integrations between Splunk, DbConnect, and Xacta or related tools Aggregate various types of data, including data from Splunk, Xacta, DbConnect, CDM, and other sources. Develop key-value pairs to support data processing and analysis. Write and maintain ETL code to support data transformation and integration with a focus on scalability and maintainability. Capture all interface designs in a common interface control format and store interface data in a commonly accessible repository. Produce process and procedural documentation, such as data dictionaries and common vernacular documentation. Assist in obtaining an Authority To Operate (ATO) for various systems and applications, specifically with respect to how data flows support the broader architecture and controls impact. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in ETL development and data engineering. Proven experience in tagging data and working with data source sensor tools. Strong background in building data pipelines and establishing data connections. Proficiency in creating data pipelines through Splunk or equivalent SIEM platform tooling. Experience developing integrations between Splunk, DbConnect, Xacta, and other tools. Ability to aggregate and process data from various sources. Expertise in developing key-value pairs for data processing. Strong ETL coding skills and experience with common ETL tools and frameworks, with the ability to adapt to system changes as needed. Experience capturing interface designs and storing interface data in accessible repositories. Proven ability to produce detailed process and procedural documentation. Knowledge of obtaining an Authority To Operate (ATO) for systems and applications and working with ISSO/ISSM team members. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: Masters degree in a related field. Certification in ETL development or data engineering.
