| From: Vikas Kumar, Adventa Tech [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Lead Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) Location: Dallas, TX Type: 6-12 Contract Engagement USC or GC only Natural gas domain Job Description: Lead Oracle Database Administrator with E-Business experience for our direct client in Dallas. ### What You'll Do: - Oversee Oracle Database and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) operations. - Lead SQL Server administration with a focus on security and efficiency. - Mentor and guide a team of dedicated database administrators. - Manage crucial tasks for E-bus, such as cloning, patching, and app server configurations. ### Who You Are: - Experienced with Oracle DB and Oracle EBS administration. - Skilled in SQL Server management. - A seasoned leader in technical and team dynamics. - Proficient with complex API and database configurations. - Oversee the administration of Oracle Database and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). - Manage SQL Server administration - Lead and mentor a team of database administrators - Perform general administration tasks for Oracle E-bus, including cloning, patching, and managing core components such as Tech Stack, FND, and Alert Manager. - Administer app server configurations, workflow administration, and XML Publisher integrations. - Manage user roles, security, and password policies within the database environment. - Conduct database session management, tracing, analysis, and optimization to ensure optimal performance. - Handle database configuration for E-bus application cloning, Oracle RAC administration, and routine backup and restore processes. - Install and administer Apex applications within Oracle Application Server (OAS), Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS), and databases. Critical Fit: - In-depth knowledge and experience in Oracle DB administration and Oracle EBS administration. - Strong expertise in SQL Server administration. - Proven experience as a technical leader in managing a team of database administrators. - Understanding of E-bus technical components, app server configuration, and workflow administration. - Experience with Oracle Database configuration, RAC administration, and backup/restoration practices. - Ability to manage complex API and concurrent manager configurations. - Proficiency in WebLogic app server installation and configuration.
