Java Developer with Big Data Contract Location: Sunnyvale, CA(Looking for Locals with 12+ experience) Job Description: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles. Solid understanding of Big Data technologies, including Apache Spark and Apache Hive. Experience with Spark Core, Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, and HiveQL. Proficiency in developing and optimizing Hive queries for data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices. Knowledge of distributed computing principles and scalable data processing techniques. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
