| IT Project Manager Raleigh NC 12 Months State Client experience is must Client is seeking a short-term (approx. 12 month) IT Project Manager-Expert to lead the implementation of multiple web-based and/or low-code applications. The applications will be developed by either vendors or in-house development teams. Ability to adapt working style to ensure compliance with the Client methodologies; demonstrated experience with waterfall, agile, and hybrid methodologies; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and ability to work independently and proactively with attention to detail are requirements of this position. This position reports to the Project Portfolio Manager for the assigned projects. Skill Project management experience, preferably with large, complex automation implementation efforts Demonstrated Project Management experience on IT application/system development and deployments for multiple clients. Proven track record of delivering projects and workstreams with aggressive timelines and deliver within scope, budget and schedule. Objective decision-making ability based on strategic objectives priority, business performance analysis and resource availability. Hands on experience managing project risk, cost, schedule, quality, testing, and communications. Experience implementing applications using Salesforce, MS Dynamics and/or ServiceNow. Ability to adapt working style to ensure compliance with the State's and DHHS' methodologies Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills. Ability to act independently with sound business judgment, attention to detail and thrives in environment with diverse communication styles Demonstrated oral and written communication, presentation and problem-solving skills. Solid work experience with project management tools including Microsoft Project and Project Server, Jira, and Confluence. Experience with MS Office and Teams. Demonstrated experience with Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid software development frameworks. Demonstrated experience with vendor management on a medium or large IT project/system implementation. Knowledge of healthcare and managed care systems with an emphasis on behavioral health, developmental disabilities and substance use. Extensive understanding of MS SharePoint end user experience, sites, libraries, lists and groups. Ability to perform market analysis, prepare detailed budgets with cost/benefit analysis and develop business cases for new automation projects State/federal experience. Familiarity with cost allocation methodologies and developing cost projections. Results-oriented, self-motivated individual with a very strong work ethic. Team building and change management skills to influence and guide cross functional teams.
