Job Description Role: Test Engineer Location: Dallas, TX, New Jersey or Tampa, FL(Day 1 Onsite) No OPT, CPT and H1B 10+ experience required This Quality Engineer will join a fast-paced environment. This candidate will be helping to design, develop, and maintain end-to-end functional automated tests. This person must have strong programming skills, with Javas preferred language. This candidate is expected to have strong experience working with Selenium Web Driver for automation and quality testing. This person must have experience with Selenium beyond using it for the record; they will be working with the actual Web Driver APIs. Talents needed for Success: Experienced in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination Experience with Test Engineering methodologies and Test Automation Frameworks Extensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components. Experience with front-end & backend testing using Java and Selenium. Experience in writing sophisticated SQL queries. Experience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins Experience with test data management is a plus Detailed understanding of smoke testing, black-box, and non-black box testing, as well as regression testing Experience in estimating, prioritizing, and planning testing activities Requires the ability to work well with both business clients and technical team and the ability to work independently, both individually and as part of a team. Primary Responsibilities: Prepare, maintain, and execute test cases/automated scripts based on user stories; present results and track defects to closure Review test cases/automation approach with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive coverage and acquire feedback Identify dependencies for environmental and data requirements; manage and maintain environment and data. Provide mentorship to colleagues related to test coverage and test cases Develop a detailed understanding of the product being delivered Responsible for process compliance & associated documentation Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately Qualifications: Minimum of 4-6 years of related experience Bachelors degree and equivalent experience -- Keywords: information technology Florida Texas Test Engineer [email protected] |
