Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid & must go to office 2-3days in a week) Duration: Contract Experience: 7+ Years JD: Responsibilities: Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related subject 8 or more experience in Environment Management / DevOps / Automation Hands on experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD process using tools like Git, TeamCity, Jenkins, Maven, Groovy, Gradle, etc. Hands on Environment Management work including provisioning, deployment, monitoring & support for all aspects of standard & non-standard tech stack / software for SaaS / Cloud and On-Premise applications Experience in maintaining GIT/SVN repositories for code and configuration. Knowledge on DevOps tooling, Cloud Technology and containerization deployments using tools such as Open Shift, Pivotal. Standing up and administering on premise Kafka platform. Provide expertise in Kafka brokers, zookeepers, Kafka connect, schema registry, KSQL, Rest proxy and Kafka Control center. Ensure optimum performance, high availability and stability of solutions Create topics, setup redundancy cluster, deploy monitoring tools, alerts and has good knowledge of best practices. Provide administration and operations of the Kafka platform like provisioning, access lists Kerberos and SSL configurations. Create Pipeline using Jenkins Pipeline (Groovy Scripting) Deep understanding with ITIL/ITSM process and associated with Change, Incident and Configuration Management Hands on experience with managing/ troubleshooting Linux systems & dealing with networking issues (TCP, UDP, SSL, certificates, firewalls, proxies, and reverse proxies). Partner & collaborate with Development and Operations teams to drive all DevOps enablement and environmental management activities Scripting experience preferably Python.
