The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce testing, including both manual and automated testing. This role involves working closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality and functionality of our Salesforce applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Execute Test Plans: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Salesforce applications, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. Automation Testing: Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Provar, QTP/UFT, TOSCA, or Cucumber. Unit Testing: Write and execute unit tests in Salesforce using Apex test classes to ensure code quality and coverage. Bug Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects and issues using bug tracking tools like JIRA. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software. Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Security Testing: Validate user roles, permissions, and data sharing rules to ensure security compliance. Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to ensure the application can handle the expected load. Required Skills and Experience: Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce testing, including manual and automated testing. Testing Tools: Proficiency with testing tools such as Selenium, Provar, QTP/UFT, TOSCA, or Cucumber. Salesforce Expertise: Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and Salesforce integrations. Testing Methodologies: Experience with various testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. Automation Skills: Experience in writing and maintaining automated test scripts. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Certifications (Preferred): Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, or other relevant certifications. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
