F2F interview at Boston, MA Must be DL from MA 10 years Senior Data Analyst 12+ months Visa : USC/GC Boston, MA 3 days in the office Local candidates only must send documentation ID with name/address Must be open to onsite interview if requested Position Overview : The Data Analyst works as part of the Data Platform Team within the Data & Analytics Group. The primary responsibilities are to analyze enterprise and vendor datasets, understand data characteristics and methodologies, and collaborate across business and technology teams to manage data onboarding and data lifecycle. The analyst will work on analyzing data profiles and data cleansing and quality check requirements, working with the dev team to build and enhance data pipelines while maintaining proper quality and control around the data sets. Primary Responsibilities: Collaborate across teams to implement data governance policies for data ingestion and operational processes. Manage data sets to the defined rules and controls. Develop/implement new rules and controls as needed. Remediate data issues. Address quality issues surfaced in the data set, engage vendors and stakeholders where necessary. Define data policies and controls for new data requirements. Analyze and document data methodologies and data feed structures related to internal and external data sources. Provide Data Ownership and subject matter expertise for reference data and aggregate data. Provide data quality metrics for guidance on Enterprise data sets. Establish working relationship with key stakeholders and manage stakeholder expectations. Provide thought leadership and participate in projects that enhance/improve data life cycles, processes, quality, and governance. Identify and document data quality problems and opportunities to improve data quality controls via data profiling and advanced analysis. Document, assess, influence, and synthesize business requirements to develop and advance data platform and stewardship capabilities. Translate complex business requirements into focused technical requirements and data solutions. Conduct detailed UAT against complex requirements and data structures. Work closely with developers to resolve issues discovered via testing and develop solutions to address logic/design deficiencies. Key Qualifications / Skills: Extensive hands-on experience analyzing and interpreting investment data with strong knowledge of the Investment Management industry 10+ years of Investment Management experience. Comprehensive data analysis skills with ability to detect anomalies, patterns, and data quality issues. Strong SQL skills Experience with Snowflake. Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively in both formal and informal contexts tailored for the audience. Knowledge of Data Governance & Data Quality and the relevant tools. Hands-on experience in project management Ability to manage enterprise scale data projects. Preferred Skills: Experience working with BI reporting tools like Tableau or Power BI is preferred. Knowledge in coding, Python is a plus.
