Role: Network Security/Cyber Security Engineer Location: Union beach, NJ (Only Locals) Duration: Contract Experience: Minimum 10+ years Note: Only H1 Visa who can share PP (Dont share GC, GC EAD, H4, OPT/CPT) Role Description: The primary role of this position is to identify, confirm, and collate details needed to complete a detailed network design and prepare to integrate existing Industrial Operational Technology or Process Control Network systems into a standard architecture. Requirements: Travel to industrial plant sites. Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including steel-toed shoes, hearing, eye and hardhat protection. Physical Activity, including walking up stairs, over obstacles and lifting moderate weights. Explicit hands-on network management experience and familiarity with both copper and fiber media and associated transceivers with an emphasis on Cisco hardware. Explicit hands-on network management experience with specialized IT technology experience in installation, upgrade, troubleshooting, and tuning of Cisco switches, and connecting infrastructure pertaining to IT-OT Foundational Infrastructure and IT-OT Services. Qualification: Prefer Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related discipline (BSEE, BSCS, BSET) with a minimum of 5 years of job related experience. Desire but do not require Cisco Certifications, ex. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Must have a minimum of 5 years experience with networking architecture. Must possess high technical and communication skills. Must understand how to cable, power and configure Cisco switches, UPS, PDU, and other network hardware. Requires travel to industrial facilities. Must pass TWIC card access restrictions Requires wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including steel-toed shoes, arm covering (long sleeves or coveralls), hearing, eye, and hardhat protection.
