Client: Banking & Financial services client

Location: Remote

Duration: 6+ 12 Months

Job Summary:

Workday Technical Lead. The main function of this role is in the design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of the Workday system. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate and
collaborate effectively with both technical resources and business stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

Technical design and configuration of Workday modules, including but not limited to HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Talent, and Recruiting.

Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to meet business needs.

Design and implement integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems.

Provide expert-level technical support to resolve complex Workday issues.

Troubleshoot integrations, data issues, and system errors.

Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation.

Provide quality assurance reviews.

Perform post-implementation validation of software and resolve any bugs found during testing.

Partner with Workday support to escalate and resolve critical problems.

Work closely with HR functional teams to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Partner across technology teams to ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Skillset and Qualifications:

10+ years relevant Workday experience configuring and deploying in all stages of the Workday project lifecycle, from planning and design phases through testing and deployment.

Strong understanding of Workday architecture, configuration, and integration capabilities, data model, and security framework. Experience in leading and managing Workday implementations.

Certifications (including pro) in relevant areas like Workday HCM, Workday Integrations and others.

Knowledge of HR processes and best practices.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Project management and leadership abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience with other HRIS systems.
