| Epic Data Warehouse Consultant Location: USA/Remote Duration: 6 to 12 Months Key Responsibilities: Epic Data Extraction: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from Epic Caboodle and Clarity into the data warehouse. Develop and maintain data extraction processes, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Collaborate with the Epic team to understand data structures, schemas, and data flow within Epic systems. Data Integration and Management: Integrate data from multiple sources into a cohesive data warehouse environment. Ensure data consistency, integrity, and quality throughout the data integration process. Develop and implement data validation and cleansing procedures. Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for data extraction and integration processes. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner. Work closely with IT and clinical teams to address any data discrepancies or challenges. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders, including clinical and IT teams, to understand data requirements and project goals. Communicate effectively with project managers, team members, and clients to ensure project success. Provide regular updates and reports on project status, milestones, and deliverables. Documentation and Training: Document data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides. Provide training and support to end-users and team members on data warehouse functionalities and best practices. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare IT, with a focus on Epic systems (Caboodle and Clarity) and data warehousing. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and data extraction tools. Experience with ETL processes and data integration. Strong understanding of Epic data structures and schemas. Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
