Role: PeopleSoft developer Work Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid) 8+ years Experience Mandatory. Duration: Long Term Mandatory Qualifications A. Staff must have a minimum of six (6) years of experience as a PeopleSoft developer. B. Staff must have a minimum of six (6) years of experience conducting analysis with technical and non-technical staff and translating business needs into functional and technical requirements. C. Staff must have a minimum six (6) years of experience with PeopleSoft Applications including but not limited to Human Capital Management and Electronic Learning Management. D. Staff must have a minimum of six (6) years of experience with PeopleTools utilizing Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Oracle BI Publisher, Integration Broker, PeopleSoft Query, User Security Administration, Component Interface, and Process Scheduler. E. Staff must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a PeopleSoft developer in PeopleSoft environments with State of CA departments, agencies, or equivalent public sector experience. F. Staff must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience with in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft technical architecture & environments - PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA). G. Staff must have a minimum of six (6) years of expert knowledge of and experience with: a) Relational Databases b) SQR/SQL c) DLC methodology and process d) Graphical User Interface (GUI) technologies e) Training and mentoring IT Staff f) Testing Plan methodology H. Staff must have a minimum of six (6) years of experience with and knowledge of: 1) PeopleSoft Functionality such as Drop Zones, Fluid Interface, Page Composer, Test Framework, Event Mapping, Form Builder and Approval Workflow, Work Centers, and Activity Guides 2) Issue Tracking Systems 3) PeopleSoft lifecycle management Processes 4) Change Control and Configuration management and documentation 5) PeopleSoft Data Audit Planning I. Staff must have a bachelors degree or higher in a Computer Science discipline. J. Staff must have five (5) years of proven success in oral and written communications with various levels of stakeholders. K. Staff must have two (2) years of experience mentoring State staff for application development and providing hands-on PeopleSoft application knowledge transfer. L. Staff must have two (2) years of experience evaluating business needs, requests, and processes, and recommending solutions within the PeopleSoft modules. M. Staff must have two (2) years of experience providing technical guidance for PeopleSoft system design, configuration, development, unit and system testing, implementation, and administration in accordance with the PeopleSoft PeopleBooks instructional materials. N. Staff must have two (2) years of experience troubleshooting PeopleSoft issues and researching, developing, modifying, and supporting existing and new system customizations, processes, and interfaces (both internal and external). O. Staff must have two (2) years of experience supporting all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, and Implementation, Post Go-live support and Maintenance and Operations preparation.
