Job Description - Need local candidate with Genuine Visa . Technical Lead (IT Cloud and Automation Specialist) 100% Onsite Sacramento, CA Top Requirements (Must haves) Minimum of five (5) years of experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity. Must possess a Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering Field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Must possess a valid Azure Administrator Associate Certification from Microsoft Duties/Day to Day Overview Cloud Services Support: Assisting with the management of cloud-based resources, ensuring that services are running smoothly and efficiently. This might involve basic tasks in cloud environments, such as provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance. Automation Assistance: Helping to implement and maintain automation scripts and workflows that support various IT operations, such as software deployments, system configurations, and routine checks. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Working under the guidance of more senior team members to manage and provision infrastructure using code and templating tools, like, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager. Monitoring and Reporting: Keeping an eye on cloud resources and automated processes, creating reports on their status, and escalating issues to higher-level specialists or engineers as necessary. Troubleshooting: Providing first-line troubleshooting support for issues within cloud environments and automated systems, working to resolve user and system problems or forwarding complex issues to senior staff. Documentation: Creating and updating documentation for cloud configurations, automation procedures, and operational guidelines to ensure that knowledge is shared and processes are repeatable. Security Basics: Assisting with the implementation of basic security measures in cloud environments, like managing access controls and monitoring for unusual activity. Collaboration: Working with other IT staff on projects related to cloud and automation, offering support where needed and learning from more experienced team members. Vendor Interaction: Assisting with interactions between the organization and cloud service providers or automation tool vendors, including support requests and account management. Cost Monitoring: Helping to track cloud spending and utilization to aid in cost optimization efforts. Technology includes: Azure, AWS, Ansible, VMware Aria Automation Additional Qualifications (Nice to Haves) Desirable Not Mandatory: Possession of a valid Azure Network Engineer Associate Certification from Microsoft. Possession of a valid VMware Certified Professional-Security (VCP-SEC) Certification from VMware. Possession of a valid Advanced Networking Specialty Certification from AWS. Possession of a valid Azure Security Engineer Associate Certification from Microsoft. Possession of a valid Security Specialty Certification from AWS. Possession of a valid Azure Fundamentals Certification from Microsoft. Possession of a valid Technical Associate-Cloud Management and Automation (VCTA-CMA) Certification from VMware.
