| Greetings of the day Title: Azure 21Vianet Cloud Security Contractor Pay Rate - C2C - $70-75/hr Location Anywhere in US Working Hours EST Position Summary: Objective: To enhance and maintain the security of Azure 21Vianet cloud environments and services. To ensure the secure and compliant migration of cloud resources from one region to another, minimizing downtime and protecting against data breaches. Key Responsibilities: Define and implement cloud security standards for Azure 21Vianet deployments. Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security controls into IAC code frameworks/pipelines. Help develop a migration strategy for moving from the Isolated Entra ID to a new sychronized directory (AD Connect) and move from Microsoft Entra Domain Services (Azure AD DS) over to native AD Assist Network Team with analyzing acceptable firewall rule policies for communication from China On-prem to China Azure. Document implementations thoroughly through technical documentation and run books. Provide input and feedback on security architectures. Monitor cloud security posture and identify misconfiguration issues and compliance risks. Respond to and investigate security incidents and vulnerabilities within the Azure 21Vianet environment. Stay updated with the latest security threats and technologies to ensure robust defense mechanisms are in place. Develop and implement security protocols for the migration process. Collaborate with IT and security teams to assess and mitigate risks associated with cloud migrations. Monitor migration activities to ensure security compliance and report any incidents or vulnerabilities. Provide expertise on cloud security best practices and stay updated with the latest security trends and threats. Document all security measures and actions taken during the migration process. Required Skills: Familiarity with Azure 21Vianet Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking and security in Azure. Experience with cloud migration tools and methodologies. Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to data security and privacy. Proficiency in cloud security services, particularly within Azure 21Vianet. Experience with cloud security posture management tools. Knowledge of application development security and database security. Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver secure solutions to technology challenges and business requirements. Strong documentation and communication skills. Desirable Experience: Prior experience in cloud migration projects, with a focus on security aspects. Experience in incident response and digital forensics in a cloud environment Previous experience in a technical security role with a focus on cloud environments. Experience in monitoring and securing cloud-based deployments and applications. Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is preferred.
