experience implementing Agile practices and tools and ability to act as scrum master for Agile teams Financial services experience, with specific experience on Actuarial projects/programs (e.g., GAAP LDTI, Prophet platform implementations, etc.) Knowledge of needs analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering & solution discovery Proficient in common project management tools including MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, ADO, MS PowerPoint, Excel Self-starter with sound judgment and decision-making skills and an analytical, data-driven mindset Understanding of platform implementation and integration best practices and systems development lifecycle methodologies Nice To Have Financial services experience, focused on Life Insurance and Annuity domains Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Relevant Agile certifications e.g., CSM, SAFe, RTE, etc. Job Description: As part of the Enterprise Actuarial PMO organization, provide day-to-day oversight and project management for actuarial model build and testing on new Prophet platform, inclusive of required model input/output data via Snowflake This is a hands-on project management role that also may require oversight of and/or coordination with other PM/SM team members to drive delivery of complex multi-year projects Help develop and maintain project roadmaps, develop long- and short-term project plans, establish interim milestones, identify cross-project dependencies, ensure adherence to deadlines, and update the team regularly on project progress Develop strong relationships with key project stakeholders from various teams (business, IT, and other shared services teams) to facilitate strong cross-functional collaboration Partner with project sponsors & stakeholders to define project scope, priorities, timelines, milestones, deadlines, plans, RAID logs, resource plans and deliverable schedules Apply best-fit methodology for project execution (i.e., Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, etc.) Remove or facilitate the removal of impediments to ensure program teams have what they need to succeed Escalate, track and report on project risks and issues; drive key decisions with project stakeholders; and manage changes to scope, schedule, and budget via formal change control process Apply knowledge of PMO tools to capture and report on key project metrics and utilize a data driven approach to status reporting Communicate status updates via formal weekly/monthly project status reports to project stakeholders and impacted teams, as well as various levels of management Facilitate continuous improvement across the team including through the application of process excellence disciplines Align, manage, and navigate external dependencies and key stakeholders outside the project team Ensure business readiness for supporting delivery and adoption Co-ordinate with internal resources and external consultants to deliver quality solutions Stay up to date with industry trends within the Actuarial and PMO domains Required Skills / Experience: 7+ years experience in program/project management with a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering business value Financial services experience, with specific experience on Actuarial projects/programs (e.g., GAAP LDTI, Prophet platform implementations, etc.) Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment within medium to large organizations Ability to oversee multiple projects, deliverables, and resources independently Understanding of platform implementation and integration best practices and systems development lifecycle methodologies Knowledge of needs analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering & solution discovery Experience managing stakeholders and project teams effectively Familiarity with various Agile methodologies (scaled Agile, scrum, Kanban, etc.);
