As an Azure Cloud Architect for Data Center Migration Projects, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions that support the migration of mission-critical applications, workloads, and data from legacy data center environments to cloud platforms. Leveraging your expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, and migration strategies, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute migration plans that meet client requirements and business objectives. Lead the design and development of cloud architectures that align with client requirements, industry best practices, and cloud provider capabilities (Azure). Define architectural patterns, standards, and guidelines for cloud migration projects from On-Prem, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of cloud-based solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to assess existing infrastructure environments, identify migration requirements, and develop comprehensive migration strategies and plans. Define migration approaches, methodologies, and tools, considering factors such as workload dependencies, data gravity, and regulatory compliance. Configure and provision cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security services, to support migration activities and post-migration operations. Implement automation and orchestration solutions to streamline provisioning, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure components. Design and implement security controls, policies, and procedures to protect cloud-based assets and data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Optimize cloud infrastructure performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness through resource right-sizing, load balancing, and auto-scaling configurations. Document cloud architecture designs, migration plans, implementation procedures, and operational best practices, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity of operations.
