SAP Archiving Consultant Location: Remote with 20% travel in Canada, USA Duration: 6 months Travel Requirements Ability to travel mainly to the USA and Canada as needed Requirement The Role We are looking for a dynamic Archiving Consultant to join our professional services team. This position will play an integral role in the timely and successful delivery of SAP archiving projects and will be working with a team that provides world-class technical services to a variety of enterprise organizations globally. The Archiving Consultant applies business and technical skills, as well as consulting methodologies to collect and analyze information to design, configure, and implement Sigma Business Solutions software based on unique customer requirements. This role works closely with customers and other Professional Service Consultants in the delivery of projects, as well as with Account Executives, Solution Consultants, and Strategic Partners throughout the sales and delivery cycles. Duties and responsibilities: In this role you are responsible for: Work with process owners and other relevant stakeholders to design, evaluate, and implement scalable and efficient data archiving strategies Performing data discovery/analysis in source system Converting requirements into design Implementation of SAP Data Archiving Projects Development of Project Plans Providing leadership in the delivery of projects Managing project deliverables Documentation and Training Providing status reports as needed Assisting the sales team with pre-sales activities Interacting with sales, services and partners to participate in scoping project efforts, creating estimates and responding to RFPs Delivering presentations, workshops, and live demonstrations to a mixed audience of technical, business, and management staff. Mandatory Requirements 7+ years of SAP Experience. Lead role in a minimum of 3 full-cycle SAP Data Archiving Implementations. Experience with archiving tools that support data storage, retention, migration, indexing & retrieval. In depth knowledge of tools to access archived data, use of Tcode SARA to configure business/technical requirements, set up variants, execute write/delete jobs and other relevant activities. Experience with ArchiveLink Imaging Functionality. Experience with OpenText Core Archive including Archiving and Doc. Access, Archiving Center and Content Server In depth knowledge on implementation and architecture of SAP components and functional modules Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Nice to Have Experience implementing SAP ILM and Open Text VIM SAP ABAP, SAP Basis, Database Administration and OS related services XML/XQuery/Xpath, SQL, PostgreSQL ETL Tools Functional experience with SAP systems Keywords: Urgent Requirement of SR SAP Archiving Consultant [email protected] |
