| From: Subhash Tamta, Convextech.inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title: SCADA Project manager Location: Hybrid - ( Can live in one of these 4 places:Omaha, NE, Des Moines, IA, Las Vegas, NV, or Portland, Oregon) Duration : Long term contract Visa Restrictions : only USC/GC/ EAD GC Job Description: Responsibilities: Lead the planning and implementation of SCADA projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and manage project resources effectively. (Project sizes are $10-$100MM+). Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors and key stakeholders. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulations, and promote best practices in project management. Required Experience and Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on SCADA systems. Strong technical background and hands-on experience with SCADA systems, including hardware, software, and networking components. Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) and familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus. Project Management- multi-million dollar projects SCADA, Control Systems, PLC (programmable Logic Controls) Willingness to travel as needed to project sites and client locations. Experience in the utilities or oil and gas sectors. Knowledge of Control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and RTUs. Understanding of cybersecurity considerations for SCADA systems.
